Cocopepito and Cocoemy

What's a blog? I heard about it, saw it and now I have one. It all started when I asked Jina to give us an account of their weekend sojourn with the Bautista clan. Jina will be meeting for the first time Loren Legarda who happens to be her husband's (Emmanuel) first cousin and the No. 1 senator of the land. I was kinda expecting Jina to give us her first impression of Loren. Nothing of that sort happend, instead an impressive and informative travelogue was dished out, which was more than I bargained for.And all this was published in her blog.

Papa, your humor is excellent!!! Maybe I am the only one who thinks it so, but I always laugh, and laugh hard when I read an email from you. This is great and if you wish, I can link this and place it on The Bautistas blog as a link. Well done Papa, you are unrelenting! Touche

Papa and Mama,
How was Nanay's birthday party? Please send us your recap and pictures if any.
We haven't heard even from the Santos side....just a short text message from Gerry.

Right after the party I tried to recount the events that took place during Nanay's party. As I told Jina,I couldnt get to the main page of the Bautistas and settled for the limited space offered by Blogger and emailed same to Jina for posting. She didnt receive it.Anyway, better late than never. Here it goes: I called Gerry earlier (Saturday) to have his camera ready cuz you and Rommel are asking for pictures. As Mama and I expected, it was a big family affair what with children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, balaes, friends, relations that include ex=future First Lady Susan Roces and her balikbayan sister Rosemarie.Nanay looks well and healthy but seated on a wheelchair.Pare, she told me when you called Gerry last night I had a strange hunch that Rommel and Titten were here to surprise me.Must be very disappointing for her.But I made it up by joining the family picture saying I was representing Rommel Mama and I were seated at the table shared with Nanay, her younger sister,Bot and Tinet. Marie and Len were there, too.Notably absent were Tato who was in Guam and Michelle in US.
Mama was surprised with Ann's very slim figure.Edong being in his turf(the strums) was lording it over.Gerry was our official photographer. The party was over at about 3:30 p.m. after a bingo game.

Papa, this is a wonderful account, I hope it's okay to post it in the main page for Bautistas. I will do that, but if you dislike it, I'll take it down. Hopefully pictures are forthcoming.
